How To Take Action

I would suggest starting by looking at what could mess up your life big time. Like if you think using drugs or drinking too much could wreck things, then just decide you're not going to touch them. It's a simple choice, but it can really change your future.

Now, if you want to get people to listen or change their minds, you've got to be a bit clever about it. If you can say stuff in a fun or different way, you can make folks think twice. Sometimes, just spelling out the obvious can make someone see things in a new light.

Here's what you can do right now:

  • Make a list of stuff that could ruin your life. Think hard about this, it's important.
  • Decide not to do any of those things on your list. Seems simple, but it's a big step.
  • When you're talking or teaching, try to spice up how you say things. You don't have to be dull to be right.

Remember, it's about making good choices for yourself and helping others to do the same. You don't need to spend loads of money or time on this. Just think, choose, and speak with a little flair. That's how you can make a real difference for you and the folks around you.

Charlie was pretty adamant about this he said I've never seen somebody whose life was better by including drugs and alcohol in them and so it's like well what were the things that I would do to destroy my life well if I got really into drugs and really into alcohol that would be something that would absolutely destroy my life and so he inverted that and said well then I just won't do this he thought about a lot of things in that way and I think his kind of snarky demeanor or his boyish charm was what everyone kind of loved him for he would State these obvious truths in ways that people hadn't said before and made people feel ridiculous for some of the things that they were already doing
