Business Is NOT Rocket Science…
Summary
- My biggest company makes $2 million a week. That's a lot of money, but we still focus on the basics.
- We contact leads quickly and personalize our approach to their problems.
- We make sure sales reps leave notes in the CRM. This helps the customer success team have good conversations.
- We ensure customers use the product and get onboarded correctly. Setting proper expectations can help a lot.
- None of this is rocket science. It's doing simple things right but on a larger scale, with more people.
- If you're a solopreneur, you should know that making a billion-dollar company involves the same tasks you do now, just with more people.
- The real challenge is getting other people to do these tasks well. The complexity grows as you scale, but the basics remain the same.

How To Take Action
I would suggest implementing some simple but powerful practices to boost your business or personal growth.
Contact Leads Quickly: When you get a new lead, reach out to them as soon as possible. It shows you care and can lead to higher conversion rates.
Personalize Your Approach: Understand your customers' problems and tailor your solutions to them. This builds trust and makes your offers more appealing.
Use a CRM Effectively: Make sure to keep detailed notes in your CRM system. This will help you and your team continue meaningful conversations with customers.
Onboard Correctly: Ensure every customer knows how to use your product or service. Set correct expectations right from the start. This will lead to better satisfaction and fewer complaints.
Focus on Basics at Scale: Remember, growing your business is about doing fundamental tasks with more people. Don't overcomplicate things. Stick to the basics but make sure everyone in your team can execute them well.
Build a Skilled Team: The biggest challenge is finding and training people who can perform these tasks as well as you do. Invest time in developing a strong onboarding process for your team.
You don't need a lot of money or time to start implementing these strategies. Start small, focus on the basics, and gradually scale up.
