I used to think that comparison was bad and comparing myself to these people that were so far ahead of me it was bad and I shouldn't look at it there's nothing wrong with focusing on it if it's motivational I think what's bad is when you beat yourself up for not being there because when you beat yourself up you feel disempowered and you're less likely to take action but when you look at something and you feel inspired you're actually motivated to take action so comparison is neither good nor bad it's just judgment that makes it feel that way that was great
