Do I Work Out With My Husband?
Summary
- I prefer working out alone rather than with a partner because it allows me to focus better.
- Having a trainer motivate me works well, but I don't enjoy being trained by my spouse.
- If my spouse, who is more knowledgeable and stronger in fitness, trains me, I tend to resist because it feels like they're just yelling.
- My ideal gym time includes listening to music and enjoying alone time, which is something I've grown accustomed to and it works for me.
- Even if my spouse believes in my capabilities, it can be challenging for me to train with someone so advanced.

How To Take Action
I would suggest starting with a solo workout routine if you prefer to focus on your own, just like I do. It's easier to concentrate, and there's no pressure from others. When it comes to guidance, you might find having a trainer who can push you helpful. But make sure it's someone you're comfortable with—not a spouse if that dynamic doesn't work for you.
To keep motivation high without a partner or trainer, create a killer playlist. Music can be a great motivator and make gym time enjoyable. If you like being alone, remember it's okay to embrace that alone time at the gym. It can be your space to unwind.
For those who feel less knowledgeable or strong than others around them, like I sometimes do with my spouse, don't let it discourage you. Instead, focus on your own progress and set personal goals. It's not about catching up or competing, it's about getting stronger and more knowledgeable at your own pace.
And remember, if you train with someone more advanced, like I experience with my spouse, it's important to remind yourself that they believe in your potential. Use that as encouragement to challenge yourself, but also make sure to communicate and set boundaries to ensure a positive training environment.

do you train or do Fitness Together I don't think I'm a good training partner I don't train well with many people I like having a trainer to yell at me you also don't like that trainer who's yelling at you to be your spouse correct and that's how Alex trains people so instead of him yelling at me and me doing the exercise I just go why are you yelling at me I think now if we train together it would be completely different to be fair I actually just like going to the gym listening to music and not talking to anybody I like having the alone time that's just how I've worked out for a long time and I've been reinforced for it and I don't think that I'm easy to train because Alex is stronger than me he knows more about Fitness than me and he pushes me you know if we're in the gym I just believe in you
