Here’s What $4M Taught Me… (New Video Out Now)

Summary

  • I've realized that not all social media platforms drive the same amount of traffic to my site. For example, despite having almost 900,000 followers on TikTok, it only contributes 2.5% of the traffic to my site.

  • In contrast, Facebook, with just 15,000 followers, has been 10 times more effective in driving traffic per follower than TikTok. This shows that sometimes fewer followers on one platform can be more valuable depending on where they are.

  • Currently, Facebook and one other strategy are responsible for 80% of my site's traffic acquisition. It's important to focus on what's working well and put more effort into those areas.

  • I've also noticed that I haven't spent much time on email marketing, but it has amazing conversion metrics and can attract a lot of customers. I plan to increase my attention here because of its potential.

  • The key takeaway is to invest time and energy in tactics that show the highest returns and adjust your strategies based on where you see the most success.

How To Take Action

I suggest focusing on what’s working best for your business. Look at all the platforms you’re on, and see which ones bring you the most traffic or sales per follower. You might find, like I did, that a platform with fewer followers is bringing more traffic. Don’t get stuck on the numbers alone; check where the real value is.

A smart approach is to put more energy into the channels that give you the best results. For example, if you notice Facebook brings in a lot more visitors than other platforms, then that's where you should spend more time and creativity.

Also, don't overlook the power of email marketing. Even if it's not your main focus now, it’s worth spending some time here because of its high conversion rates. Start with a simple plan like a weekly newsletter sharing valuable tips, offers, or stories that connect with your audience.

Think about making small, manageable changes that pay off big. Avoid spreading yourself too thin—focus on a couple of strategies that already show success. Remember, it’s about quality, not quantity. Measure what works, keep refining and adjusting, and lean into what gets you the best outcomes.

creating content across all these platforms last year we have almost 900,000 followers on Tik Tok and only 2 and a half% of my traffic to my site is from Tik Tok now you compare that to Facebook which we've only been doing for maybe half a year and we have 15,000 followers here and it has 10x the traffic by follower from Tik Tok and so Facebook was way down here but it is now moved up and so for me these two right here generate 80% of the traffic that I have acquisition. and so we're doubling down on what works but the two biggest moves are Facebook is moving up and email is one that I have spent very very little time on and email has unbelievable metrics in terms of conversion and bringing customers in and so this is how I'm spending the next
