How To Take Action
A good way of handling your time is by balancing between work and rest. First, put all your hours into working until you can't work anymore. Learn to recognize when you need that break. This doesn’t mean burning yourself out but rather optimizing your work energy.
When you're ready to rest, have a set of activities that help you recharge without draining you. Doing something like spending a day at the pool, watching your favorite series on Netflix, or going out for a movie can be great. These activities are not just about wasting time—they help you reset and come back stronger.
One great idea is to plan a big workout morning followed by brunch with friends. This can help you feel recharged both physically and mentally. Physical activity boosts your mood and energy levels, while socializing helps you connect and relax.
All of these activities are low-cost, both in terms of money and time. They are simple but can have a massive impact on your overall productivity. By recharging effectively, you increase your total output for the week or even the month.
In summary:
- Work as much as you can until you need a break.
- Have diverse, restful activities ready: pool day, Netflix, movies.
- Include physical and social activities like workout mornings and brunch.
- See rest as productive because it boosts your long-term output.
