How To Take Action
I would suggest being honest about how you're feeling, especially when times are tough. If you're running a small business or working on personal growth and you hit a rough patch, don't hide it. Talk about your challenges with someone you trust. This takes almost no time and no money, but it can make a big difference. People can usually tell when something's up, and if they don't know what it is, they might think it's their fault.
A good way of doing this is by starting a conversation. Maybe during a coffee break or a casual chat, you could share a bit about the struggles you're facing. You don't have to go into all the details, but letting people know you're not your usual self because you're dealing with some things can prevent misunderstandings.
Remember, clear communication is key. If you're in a bad mood, be upfront about it. This helps prevent others from feeling responsible for your unhappiness. Plus, it invites them to support you, which can really help when you're feeling down.
Also, this kind of transparency is not just good for you, it’s good for your team or the people around you. When you share what's going on, you open the door for others to be understanding and maybe even help you out. This can create a more caring and connected environment, which is great for everybody.
So, to sum it up: be open, talk about your struggles, and communicate clearly. It'll help you and the people around you, and it doesn’t cost a thing.

the first business that I ever started I wanted to give up and I felt like I didn't want to keep going but I never wanted anyone to know that I was upset or in a bad mood or having a hard time and then I realized that people are so much smarter than you give them credit for and by not telling them what's going on with me they assume it's them so I'm sitting over here feeling ashamed and they're sitting over there thinking that it's them that I'm frustrated with versus when you talk about it it's good for you and it has the amazing byproduct of now people realize why you may be acting a little a little bit less happy than you normally are smiling a little bit less or a little less attentive and they don't think it's them you have to be able to be open because it's not just good for you it's good for people around you
