I’ve Always Wanted to Help People…

Summary

  • When I was younger, I wanted to save animals and thought I'd be a doctor. This was because I always wanted to help both animals and people.

  • I discovered a different way to help others than I initially expected. I didn't foresee becoming a CEO, but I always knew I wanted to assist people.

  • Being in a position where I can help others while also creating financial rewards for myself and others makes me feel fortunate.

How To Take Action

I would suggest implementing a mindset shift where you redefine how you can help others. Just like I realized that being a CEO allows me to support people in unexpected ways, consider how your current skills or business can serve others. Start by listing what you’re passionate about and align this with what you offer or hope to offer. This is low-cost and just takes some reflection and writing.

A good way of doing this is tapping into your existing passions or skills to reach your goals. Think about what makes you feel fulfilled, like I did when I connected helping others with my business work. Try turning this into something practical in your own life. For example, if you value education, you could offer free workshops or advice in your expertise. It’s a powerful and cost-effective way to make a difference.

Another simple approach is seeking feedback from those you trust about how you are currently helping others. This can be as easy as calling a friend or having a chat with a coworker. They can provide insights into strengths you might be overlooking and areas where you can grow or pivot.

Finally, think about monetary value not just as profit for yourself but as a means of rewarding and empowering others. Creating financial benefits for all parties involved fosters a sustainable and shared growth path, much like it did in my journey.
