Life update…

Summary

  • I started making content before our business was fully established, focusing on gym launch and not yet on acquisition.com.
  • Recently, I've recognized that my responsibilities as a full-blown CEO are demanding more of my time, reducing the time I have for content creation.
  • Moving forward, my content will shift towards behind-the-scenes looks and more interactive formats, such as Q&A sessions and call-in shows.
  • I understand the value of my content; it's been impactful, helping many to earn money they hadn't before, and I don't plan to stop providing this help.
  • Recognizing the "season" you are in is vital, and currently, I cannot dedicate the same time to content prep as I have in the past, nor do I wish to.
  • My passion lies in being a CEO and running a business, which excites me more than being a content creator.
  • Focusing on capturing and sharing my real-life experiences as a CEO, rather than attempting to manufacture content or follow trends, is where I believe I can offer the most value.
  • I hope my audience will appreciate this new approach, and I'm open to feedback on it.

How To Take Action

I would suggest focusing on your strengths and the things you love. If you're an entrepreneur or someone interested in personal growth, and your passion lies in your work, not in creating content, that's okay! You can still share your journey by showing real-life experiences, just like I'm shifting my content to behind-the-scenes looks and Q&As.

A good way of doing this is to start small. Maybe share quick updates or lessons learned from your day as a CEO. This is low-cost because you're using your daily activities and interactions. It doesn't take much time, and it's high-value because it's genuine and can help others learn from your experiences.

Make sure to recognize what "season" you're in, like I've done. You don't need long hours to prep for content if that's not where you're at right now. Keep it simple and authentic. Listen to your audience – ask them what they want to hear or learn about, and incorporate that feedback. Interactive formats like Q&A sessions can be valuable and easy to set up.

If you're like me and are passionate about running your business, you'll find that focusing on capturing and sharing those genuine moments is more fulfilling and beneficial for your audience than trying to follow trends. Stay true to what excites you, and your content will reflect that genuine enthusiasm. Your audience will likely appreciate this honesty and sincerity in your approach and you can provide value by just being yourself and sharing your unique perspective and expertise.
