How To Take Action

Prioritize Maker Time

I would suggest you start by prioritizing your "maker time." This is the time you set aside each day to work on tasks that move you towards your goals. During this time, eliminate all distractions—turn off notifications, shut down social media, and let people know you’re not available.

Time Blocking

A good way of doing this is through time blocking. Allocate specific blocks of time on your calendar solely for maker time. Make it non-negotiable. Treat it as an important meeting with yourself that you can’t miss.

Ruthless Scheduling

Be ruthless with your schedule. Plan your day the night before, and stick to it as closely as possible. This will help you stay on track and ensure you’re dedicating enough time to high-value activities.

Create a System

I’d recommend creating a system to optimize your productivity. This might include tools like productivity apps, checklists, or even simple sticky notes. The goal is to consistently remind yourself of your priorities and keep track of your tasks.

Set Clear Goals

To make the most of your maker time, set clear, specific goals. Know exactly what you want to achieve during each session, and measure your progress. This helps in staying focused and gives a sense of accomplishment once tasks are completed.

Communicate Boundaries

People in your circle should understand your commitment to maker time. Clearly communicate your boundaries so they know not to disturb you during these crucial hours.

Reflect and Adjust

Finally, regularly reflect on your progress and make adjustments as needed. If something isn't working, tweak your system. Continuous improvement will help you maximize your achievements without burning out.

Implementing these strategies doesn’t require a lot of money or time but can significantly increase your productivity and drive success.
