How To Take Action
Implementation Strategies
Set Aside Structured Time Blocks
I would suggest setting specific blocks of time each week for what I call "manager time." This is a few hours or even half a day where you focus solely on making decisions and having meetings. This will help you stay organized and make the best use of your time.
Stack Meetings Efficiently
A good way of doing this is to stack as many meetings as possible during this time. Make them short and to the point. This way, you make quick decisions without wasting any time.
Designate a Meeting Day
Consider scheduling all your non-urgent meetings for one day of the week. For instance, I do mine on Mondays. This means if someone wants to meet, they have to do it on that specific day. This reduces interruptions throughout the rest of the week and allows you to focus on other tasks.
Encourage Preparation
When you set a specific meeting day, people will start preparing in advance because they know they only have that window to get your attention. This makes the meetings more productive and saves you a lot of time in the long run.
Plan Better, Decide Quicker
By planning your meetings and decision-making times more efficiently, you can make quicker decisions. This is crucial for the success of any business or personal growth effort. The more efficiently you plan, the more you can achieve.
By following these steps, you'll find that you have more time to focus on what truly matters, leading to better business success and personal growth.
