People Change…

Summary

  • People change over time, that's just how life works.
  • Looking back, I've changed a lot since the early days of my marriage.
  • The things I enjoy and how I behave every day have evolved, transforming the nature of my relationship.
  • When choosing a partner, I focused on finding someone who was comfortable with change and would grow alongside me.
  • To ensure we change in the same direction, it's helpful to face the same challenges and stressors.
  • By tackling difficulties together, you can build new skills as a team.
  • Strong relationships are often forged through hard times rather than just the good times.

How To Take Action

I would suggest picking someone who's okay with change, just like you, if you're looking to grow in life or business. You might not be the same person you were last year, and that's okay. Choosing someone, like a partner or a teammate, who changes and grows with you is really important. If you face tough stuff together, you both learn new things and can support each other.

So, here's what you can do:

  • When you meet someone new, talk about how you've changed over time. This can be a friend, a business partner, or anyone else. See if they're okay with change too.
  • Try doing tough things together. It can be a project that's a bit difficult or learning something new. This helps you both get better and stronger.
  • Remember, hard times can help you grow. If something's tough, don't give up. Work through it and you'll build a stronger relationship or team.

Changing together helps a lot, especially when you're starting a small business or just wanting to be better in life. It's not about the money or time; it's about growing with the people around you. When you're with someone who gets it, the hard times feel a bit easier, and you can both end up going far together.
