The 2 Most Underrated Platforms

Summary

  • Recently, I've seen that Facebook is really doing well, especially since many people left, which has opened up more opportunities.
  • We've decided to put more effort into Facebook advertising again, and it's led to very strong results, particularly for two of our businesses that target an audience over 45 years old. Organic and paid content on Facebook has been highly effective.
  • LinkedIn is another platform where there's still a lot of space to grow. Even with minimal effort, like paying only 0.5%, I'm ranked among the top 100 creators.
  • My advice is to repurpose the content you already have from other platforms and share it on LinkedIn. Doing this can help you tap into LinkedIn's potential, even if you're only able to manage organic posting at the moment.

How To Take Action

I would suggest looking into Facebook for advertising, especially if your business targets people over 45 years old. You might think Facebook isn't cool anymore, but it's actually a hidden gem! Since many people left, there's less competition. This means your posts and ads have a better chance of being seen by more people.

Start by sharing your products or services on Facebook. Create interesting posts that will make people want to learn more. If you have a little bit of money, try out Facebook ads. You don't need to spend a lot. Even a small amount can help your business get noticed.

For a free way to get your business out there, use LinkedIn too! You can share things you've posted on other platforms right onto LinkedIn. Even if it's just simple posts without any fancy stuff, it's better than nothing. With only a little bit of your time, you can reach lots of professionals who might be interested in what you offer.

So, why not give Facebook a fresh try? Sprinkle your posts with stories about your business or tips that people over 45 would find helpful. Boost your best posts with a few dollars and watch your audience grow.

And don't forget about LinkedIn. Take what you've already made and pop it onto your LinkedIn page. It's easy, doesn't cost a penny, and could help you connect with new customers or friends in your industry. Just by being active and showing up, you could be one of the top folks that people watch!
