THIS is How Success is Achieved

Summary

  • We live in a time with too much information, but it's really hard to put it into action.
  • I need to be consistent and trust the process once I start it.
  • A lot of people aren't consistent because they stop if the process doesn't give an immediate reward.
  • Being consistent means showing up again and again, even when it's hard or inconvenient.
  • I have to show up when I'm uncomfortable, when I'm busy, and when other things happen.
  • Most importantly, I need to show up even when nobody else knows if I do.

How To Take Action

I would suggest implementing a few key strategies to help you stay consistent and trust the process. These steps are easy to follow and don't require a lot of time or money.

Start Small and Build Up
A good way of doing this is by choosing one small habit to start with. It could be something simple like dedicating 10 minutes each day to a task that brings you closer to your goal. This makes it easier to stick with the habit, even when it’s inconvenient or you don’t feel like it.

Create a Routine
Set a specific time each day to work on your habit. Put it in your calendar as a non-negotiable appointment. This helps in making it an automatic part of your daily routine, so you’re more likely to do it even when you're busy.

Track Your Progress
Keep a simple log of your efforts. It can be as easy as marking an "X" on a calendar each day you complete the habit. Seeing your progress visually can motivate you to keep going, even when it's hard.

Set Realistic Expectations
Trust that results may not be immediate. The key is to be okay with this. Consistency will pay off over time, so don’t let the lack of immediate rewards discourage you.

Hold Yourself Accountable
Since nobody else may be there to monitor your consistency, find ways to hold yourself accountable. Tell a friend about your goal, or join a community that shares similar interests.

Accept Discomfort
Understand that being uncomfortable is a part of the process. Embrace it as a sign that you're growing and pushing your limits.

By focusing on these small, manageable steps, you can build consistency and trust the process, leading you closer to your personal or business goals. Remember, showing up consistently over time is what brings lasting results.
