Summary

  • If you have the skills to create content, personal branding can be very rewarding.
  • Be genuine when creating content; forcing it can be tough if you're not naturally good on camera or lack social skills.
  • It's okay to build a business or agency without attaching your personal name to it.
  • Approximately 50% of people who clicked on "Doom launch" were influenced by me or Alex.
  • There's nothing inherently wrong with leveraging your name, but it's also important to take things one step at a time.

How To Take Action

I would suggest implementing the following strategies if you're looking to grow a small business, start your entrepreneurial journey, or focus on personal growth.

First, if you are comfortable and skilled in creating content, using personal branding can be very rewarding. Being genuine is key here. Focus on sharing authentic content that resonates with your audience. This doesn't have to be expensive or time-consuming. Start with simple things like posting on social media about your daily experiences, lessons learned, or even behind-the-scenes looks at your business.

For those who are not so comfortable on camera or lack social skills, it's okay. You can build a business or agency without having to attach your personal name to it. Focus on qualities like customer service, unique offerings, and quality work to build your brand. This can often be done with minimal cost and effort, such as improving your website or creating informative blog posts.

Another high-value tactic is to leverage your network and any influence you or your partners might have. As seen in the "Doom launch," about 50% of clicks came from personal influence. Use this to your advantage by engaging with your current audience and encouraging them to share your content or recommend your services.

Lastly, remember to take things one step at a time. Don't overwhelm yourself by trying to do everything at once. Focus on one area, improve it, and then move on to the next. This way, your growth can be sustainable and less stressful.
