Why I Moved to California…

Summary

  • I moved to California because I was inspired by Tony Robbins, who bought a house in Corona del Mar. It made me dream of owning a house on those cliffs one day.
  • At first, I couldn't afford to live in Corona del Mar, so I moved to Costa Mesa, which was more affordable.
  • I would often drive to the beach in Corona del Mar, walk around, and lay on the beach, dreaming that one day I would live there.
  • Being in that location gave me inspiration and made me feel that my dream was possible. It was soothing to be surrounded by what I aspired to achieve.

How To Take Action

I would suggest implementing the power of visualization and proximity to your dreams. For anyone working on personal growth or building a small business, this means surrounding yourself with reminders of your goals. Create a vision board with images of what you want to achieve, and place it where you'll see it every day. When you see your dreams, they become more real.

A good way of doing this on a budget is to visit places or engage with communities that embody what you aspire to be. If you can't be there physically, immerse yourself in environments that reflect your ambitions, even if it's through online communities or virtual experiences.

Spend time in areas that inspire you. Just like I visited Corona del Mar, find local spots that resonate with your goals and spend time there. It might be a nearby city or a park where you can reflect on your ambitions.

Engage in activities that connect you to your aspirations. This could be reading books or listening to podcasts by people who have achieved what you aim for. Learning from their stories can give you the confidence and knowledge to pursue your dreams.

Finally, maintain a positive mindset. Remind yourself daily that reaching your goals is possible. When you align your environment and actions with your dreams, you cultivate a mindset geared towards growth and success.
