if the purpose of the meeting is just to understand if somebody's completed their work or not turn that meeting into an end of week report like literally that's why I have end of week reports everyone delivers Thursday at noon and I respond by Friday morning at 9:00 a.m. and it's basically there's their goals for the quarters listed there's their kpis listed and then like what when went wrong and then they fill that out I respond to it and so I don't need to hold a meeting to check up on somebody's work in fact I think that's very punishing I just need someone to turn in a report
