Your Calendar Is Too Busy
Summary
- I always review my calendar to make sure I'm focused on the right things for growing my company.
- People who successfully grow companies usually don't have a lot of long meetings; they often have many short meetings of about 5, 10, or 15 minutes.
- It's important to include buffer time in your schedule to handle unexpected issues, so don't overbook yourself.
- Even though I work a lot, I still make time to take care of myself with personal appointments like facials and getting my nails done.
- I find ways to combine personal care and work by taking calls during these appointments.
- To reach a higher level of success, consider leveling up how you manage your calendar.

How To Take Action
Action Plan
1. Review Your Calendar:
- I suggest looking at your calendar to ensure you're focused on activities that will grow your business. Identify tasks that directly contribute to your goals and prioritize them.
2. Short Meetings:
- A good way to manage your time better is by replacing long meetings with shorter ones. Aim for meetings that are about 5, 10, or 15 minutes. This keeps things concise and efficient.
3. Buffer Time:
- Make sure to include some buffer time in your schedule. This means not booking every minute so you can handle unexpected issues without stress. Try adding 15-30 minutes between tasks or meetings.
4. Personal Care:
- Don’t forget to take care of yourself. Schedule time for personal care appointments like getting a facial or nails done. This helps you stay refreshed and ready to take on more work.
5. Combine Personal Care and Work:
- Find ways to multitask during personal care. For example, you can take calls or have short meetings while getting your nails done. This maximizes your time and keeps you productive.
6. Level Up Your Calendar Management:
- To reach higher levels of success, continuously improve how you manage your calendar. Regularly assess and adjust to make sure your schedule aligns with your personal and business goals.
By focusing on these simple yet effective strategies, you'll manage your time better, stay productive, and maintain a good balance between work and personal life.
