How To Take Action
I would suggest setting up a distraction-free workspace to boost productivity. Find a quiet room with no windows or anything that could pull your attention away from your work. If you can't change your space, use noise-cancelling headphones to block out sound.
A good way of doing deep work is to eliminate multitasking. Even something that seems small, like fidgeting or music in the background, can sap your focus. Try to do one thing at a time, giving it your full brain power.
To avoid being preoccupied with outside problems while working, deal with personal issues promptly. When a problem comes up, solve it as soon as possible. This clears your mind and lets you concentrate on your work without worrying about other things.
Balancing on a chair or splitting your attention in other ways uses up mental energy. Stay mindful of your body and keep still to channel 100% of your effort into the work at hand. Only by focusing entirely on what you're doing can you work most efficiently.
Remember, when you clear away distractions and reduce multitasking, your work quality improves. By dealing with external troubles quickly, you make room in your brain for the task in front of you. Follow these steps, and you'll see more effective results in your work or personal growth journey.
